The forceps is angled and features a 1x2 serration.Application: Surgical micro-forceps are equipped with interlocking teeth (1:2). The advantage is that the grasped tissue parts are well-fixed without strong compression of the forceps, allowing for stronger traction. This helps avoid tissue crushing. However, delicate structures such as blood vessels and nerves may be injured by the serration and should not be held with these forceps. For such purposes, anatomical forceps are more suitable.
